Come hear guest speaker Joseph Werner, Personnel Manager for the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, discuss the experience of orchestra personnel managers. Joseph is a guest in the Arts Leadership Program class "Realities of Orchestral Life," taught by David Angus, member of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and President of the Rochester Musicians' Association.
This event is sponsored by the Catherine Filene Shouse Arts Leadership Program, part of the Institute for Music Leadership (IML) at the Eastman School of Music. As the first center of its kind in the country, the IML is a vital hub for creating, sharing, and implementing cutting-edge programs that will ensure the vitality and relevance of music in the 21st century.
