Description:This fall, Eastman Opera brings a uniquely atmospheric Broadway hit to Kilbourn Hall. The Secret Garden (1991), an adaptation of the classic novel by Francis Hodgson Burnett by Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Marsha Norman, with music by Lucy Simon, ran for more than 700 performances, winning three Tony Awards. Eastman's production will include two young people from the community in the pivitol roles of Mary Lennox and her cousin Colin.
